Dolphin

August 26th, 2011

If I ever had a chance or was forced to live underwater for two years, I would prefer to be dolphin for those two years. It is not because that dolphin is some kind of super hero of sea or because I know a lot about dolphins. This is because I like dolphins. They are harmless and friendly. After a lot of researches, it was proven that dolphins are the most intelligent creature in the sea. They don’t have eyes but they have a built in system with which they work and move. This system is used by submarine these days.

Vast Heaven

August 23rd, 2011

My idea of heaven is something which is the most beautiful place God has made. It is the reward which is worth it and definitely the best place ever. There are canals of milk, honey and wine of all kinds. There is everything which you could think of. It will bring satisfaction and happiness. There is a lot of food, drinks, fruits and delicious things. But we are also told that only those people will have the chance to go to heaven that will control them in the world. There is no pain in heaven and there is no death as well.

Tolerating Your Best Friend’s Bad Habits

My best friend

One thing I can’t stand about my best friend is her absolute bluntness. She has a very different personality than me and often says exactly what she is thinking, regardless of how it may make others feel. If I could tell her about this annoying habit, I think she may be slightly taken aback and frustrated. She would probably get very defensive and I’m quite sure I would lose her friendship. It’s always important to treat situations like this very delicately. Sometimes it’s best not to say anything at all. I mean, I’m sure I also have annoying characteristics that she puts up with. After all, that’s what best friends are for.

Being True to Yourself in the Face of Peer Pressure

August 17th, 2011

I have caved in to peer pressure many times before in my life. One of the most memorable times to me was when I was in sixth grade. At a school dance, I was hanging out with my friends when a very unpopular girl decided to join our group. Normally, I wouldn’t have minded. I’ve never been known to be mean or unaccepting of anyone. However, my friends were very upset with this situation and urged me to ask her to leave. Eventually, I did cave, and I asked her to leave us alone for the sake of pleasing my friends. She looked terribly upset and I have never forgiven myself for treating her like this. If I could go back in time, I would definitely change my actions. As a mature young adult, I now have a better understanding of the absolute unimportance of status in your group of friends. All that really matters is where you stand with yourself.
