Pay for the Convenience

Last week, I went to Olive Garden with a friend of mine from church.  We would have come over to my house and I would have cooked lunch, but we were both at work and had to get back.  I really don’t enjoy spending $10 for a meal when I can make that same meal for less than ½ the price.  I had a soup and salad, not to mention the salad was a little wilted and the soup was definitely not hot enough.  I think we really pay for the convenience of it all.  When we finished, we didn’t have to clear the table or wash the dishes – so we could spend more time talking and laughing.
